The MUNI Metro East Maintenance Facility project was awarded Project of the Year in the structures more than $75 Million category from the American Public Works Association.

AGS as a lead prime consultant for Phase I provided project management; functional and operations analysis and planning; underground utilities design, industrial, track, mechanical, equipment and systems [including catenary, signals, traction power and communications] engineering; overall coordination of design criteria and specifications development; and start-up operations support.
AGS responsibilities included management support and civil, structural, geotechnical and environmental engineering [i.e., hazardous material study and remediation]. AGS prepared a considerable amount of contract documents – both structural and civil – in connection with this project.
