The Moscone Center is San Francisco's largest convention center and exhibition hall.
Client: City and County of San Francisco/Office of the Chief Administrative Officer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Built in 1981 in the heart of the City’s downtown, it was developed with the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency and the City and County of San Francisco. The center consists of two connected halls named Moscone North and Moscone South. In 2003 a new hall named Moscone West was opened adjacent to the existing Moscone Center. This expansion consisted of three above-ground levels of exhibition halls and meeting rooms and below-grade loading, storage, and mechanical areas.
Over the past 20 years, AGS has provided a wide range of civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering services and participated in civil and structural design of the expansions.
